GOOD MORNING.

as from today, I’ll try to update in english. ehe.. this idea came from Aslann As. he said “I sound silly when I speak Malay” . haha! joking ar! ok, today I’ll talk about how to set your facebook account up to the maximum possible security. the main idea is to securing your account from being hacked.

first of all of course you must log in to your facebook account. your own account ok! haha. then go to top right, clik the account tab then select account setting. got it?

and then, select setting > account security and tick the “secure browsing'” option. so, this mean when its posibble, your account will be open or access via https connection. and some of you for sure don’t know what is the different between http and https rite?

  • http stands for "Hyper Text Transfer Protocol", the primary technology protocol on the Web that allows linking and browsing.
  • https is "Hyper Text Transfer Protocol" with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), another protocol primarily developed with secure, safe Internet transactions in mind.
  •

There are two primary differences between an HTTPS and an HTTP connection work:

    • HTTPS connects on port 443, while HTTP is on port 80
    • HTTPS encrypts the data sent and received with SSL, while HTTP sends it all as plain text
